Happy "Bird"day

A lady at work asked me to make a birthday card for her friend. The request was something with birds. The woman at work says she doesn't have a crafty bone in her body so her friend will find it humerous that it's a homemade card. The only requirement was that the card have something "bird" related to it.

So my sister needed a quick gift for a friend of hers and asked if I could "whip up" a quick batch of some monograms. Who me?! But of course what an excuse to have to craft. Honey, I'm going to my craft space because I NEED to get a gift done he he he. Works perfectly.

Papercraft Star Challenge 1

I decided to create an easel sympathy card using the silver, red, and white in the picture. Also, my eyes were imediately drawn to the dragonly in the picture.

Happy Birthday Easel

So I wanted to make an easel card. But of course I had to make it with the cricut. Soooooo I created a cut file using the Cricut Design Studio. This is the first easel card I made (please excuse the paper clip it didn't want to sit on the easel LOL)

Butterfly - MS punch punched twice (top layer vellum colored in alcohol ink)
Butterfly border - MS PATP
Birthday wishes - Studio G stamp

Happy Birthday

Nope not me ... my birthday was a few weeks ago, but my sister asked me to make a birthday card for her hubby so I used some pictures from their honeymoon for the letters then I cut them on the cricut and embossed the card with the new asian bundle for the Cuttlebug

Well I have finally been able to craft. it has been a long while since I've made anything crafty. But I have had a crafty weekend so far. I made two thank you cards however I can't post the other one until it goes postal cause the receipent reads my blog (hi Rachie!!!) so I'll post that one soon. Here's a hint ... it has Pandas ;-)
