Fun in the Sun - Florida

Over in the Cricut Circle the Circle team will be traveling from CHA Chicago to Ohio for a circle swarm. Well they decided pose a challenge to the circlets to create a banner that represents your state. So of course I did Florida ;o)

Here's a close up of the dolphins. They have glaze on them to look like real dolphins.

Here's a close up of the charms. The charms were cut on the cricut using shrinky dinks and then shrunk in the oven. I {heart} shrinky dinks. Then I attached the rings to them.

Ring, Ring, Ring ....

Calling Cards .... have you heard of these?!? Well over in the Cricut Circle when you go to a meet-up you bring calling cards to exchange with other cricuteers. Also, the calling card is your "raffle ticket" for the prize drawings. So when I was fortunate to go the Florida Meet-up I had to do something "spectacular" and so why not use my favorite animal .... Butterflies. So I cut them all out the weekend before the meet-up (yeah way to procrastinate).

Can you guess how many butterflies are in here ....

Give up ......

864 butterflies later this is what I came up with .......

Happy Mother's Day

So Nadia with all of her amazing talent made this beautiful card and bucket Flower bucket and card with some really amazing 3-d flowers. I loved the look of the flowers and decided that these would be gorgeous on some Mother's Day cards.

I inked all the edges of the card layers and then hand stitched each card {gasp}. Yep I need a little sewing machine. Hmmmmm gotta find a way to convince hubby that I need another "craft" toy. LOL
