Papercraft Star Challenge 5 - Circles

This week at Papercraft Star the design team was asked to use "circles" in their project. Well I wasn't sure what I was going to do with Circles. Then I was playing with my Gypsy and this is what I came up with .....

I just saw the gumball machine and it all came to me after that. This card would be perfect for a little kid's birthday.

I do all of my projects either in DS or on the Gypsy first so that I can cut everything out at one time. Well one of the best things on these programs is the "hide selected contour". I was able to put the gumball machine on the mat and hide all of the cuts except for the gumballs. I then copied the image (with the contours hidden) and put 7 of them on the mat and put my color squares on there and didn't have to waste paper cutting the gumball machine 7 times.

Now hop on over to the Papercraft Star Blog and show us what you did with Circles.

Supplies used:
Recollections (Michael's brand paper)
and scraps
Cricut Gypsy
Cartridges used:
* George and Basic Shapes - for the card base
* Sweethearts - Gumballs and Gumball Machine
* Swiss Dots
Pop Dots

  1. I agree, this would be a great kids card. So bright and colorful.
    Good way to use circles.

    Good job on this one,

  2. Good grief! If I had a thimble full of your knowledge about the Cricut I'd be dangerous. LOL Great take on the circle challenge Caroline!

  3. What a cute idea! I love those retro bubble gum machines! Brings back memories, my Meme used to have one that we loved!
