Hello everyone!
This week at Papercraft Star the designers were challenged to create a project using this sketch
So the first thing I remembered was there is a lattice cut on Wild Card. BINGO that would be perfect.
So I used the two lattice cuts and hid contours on my gypsy (yes I use my gypsy or DS for everything). Then I found a great shape on the storybook cart that would be a good mat for the sentiment.
Supplies used:
Cardstock:
Recollections (Michael's brand paper)
* White Stack
* Kraft Stack
Bazzill
* Patina
Cricut Gypsy
Cartridges used:
* George and Basic Shapes - for the card base
* Wild Card - Lattice cuts
* Alphalicious - thank you
* Storybook - marquee
Cuttlebug:
* Argyle
Ribbon - Celebrate it (Basic-Basic Michael's Ribbon)
Those two colors are so pretty together, and a really nice tie in with the ribbon too! Nice flip on the sketch, cute idea.
ReplyDeleteI love those colors together! The pattern at the bottom really draws the eye. cute card.

What a nice card, it could be used for a man or a woman. I like the color combo you used.

This is a great color combo and I love how you used the Gypsy to create a customized look. I have yet to try hide contour... gonna have to do that soon!
